Summer ‘06 … Time For a North Fair Oaks Real Estate BLOG

…Just a quick note to let you know what’s going on here.

I thought I’d experiment with a blog tool to edit a North Fair Oaks (NFO) newsletter.

Yes, there are some discussion boards over at www.foba.org, but this blog will primarily focus on the real estate market for “Area 311″ as it’s known in the MLS, or North Fair Oaks, Menlo Park, CA.

We’ll snail mail a few copies out to homes in the area; yes, defeating the purpose of a blog, but perhaps we can generate extra interest & info. And it gives me the newsletter without any extra formatting!

playground appreciation day on May 20th

Let’s Swing

FOBA’s putting on a playground appreciation day on May 20th. Everyone is welcome! They do need some volunteers before and during the event. Older children can help with the games. Just a little help from each family will make a big difference.

Annual Playground Appreciation Day
Saturday May 20th 10-1
A bit of clean-up and maintenance (Bring gloves & a rake)
Help plan for future improvements
Children’s Activities
•Face Painting
•Plant-a-Sunflower
•Games and music
